The last time the pro-pavement lobby threw their financial weight behind persuading voters to endorse a big gas tax was during the R-51 campaign back in 2002. At the same time during that campaign run (August 31) they'd raised 2.1 million dollars (according to the PDC). This time the "Keep Washington Rolling" fund has gathered less than a tenth of that amount: $165,000. I decided to see how that trends, and charted how much money was raised since 6/8 by both groups.
